So today I went to the health food store which is always a dangerous thing!
We love to make our own trail mix. We add pumpkin seeds, sunflower
seeds, mixed nuts, dark chocolate organic chips, & lightly salted soy nuts
(all seeds and nuts are roasted). I also wanted to make kale chips which turned out really good.
I also wanted to make a smoothie, a super green magnesium filled smoothie. Let's just say that will not be happening ever again. Mine looked nothing like the photo. Raw chard, raw beat tops, green grapes , blueberries, 1/2 a lemons juice, cucumber and papaya.
Tonight I made swiss chard and fresh beats everyone ate it and most enjoyed them we voted and they will stay on our menu.
I just steamed them not really sure what else to do with
it??
The best was what Michael made, from scratch; strawberry, banana, and; yellow kiwi bread. He did such a great job!! We served it for dessert warm with a side of vanilla ice cream. Everyone loved loved loved it. Even picky Maddy.
