Every year we make a gingerbread house. Every year it looks the same!!!!! The kids have a ton of fun with this.

This was one busy weekend

We had a very busy weekend.

Saturday yard sale Jessi and friend till 2:00. Casie was out with her friend Dylan. Then we went to the Largo parade, Jessi did gymnastics. Casie, Michael and Maddy enjoyed the show. Then the girls went out to the park to check out all the Christmas lights with friends. Sunday Jessi and Casie volunteered with SOS (save our strays) from 11:00 - 4:00 taking photos of pets with Santa. They have worked with this group for over 3 years. Nicole, Michael, Maddy Mom and Daddy went shopping at Lowes and picked up a fire pit. Daddy worked in the yard all weekend putting up fencing ( it looks great ). Grandma Raines came up for a visit. That night we all sat around the camp fire and made dinner and s'mores. Over all it was a great weekend.

Thanksgiving Feast

Gerbils

We now have 2 new members in our ever growing family. We just adopted 2 gerbils, Cinderella and strawberry( they were given to us by a family that no longer wanted them). They are officially Mike's pets he is in charge of them. So far so good. Every morning he plays with them and as soon as he gets home from school he lets them out to roll in their ball and play in their play yard. Everyone in the family has a different feeling about our newest members. Michael and Maddy are over the moon happy, daddy wonders how they would taste with soy sauce Nicole could care less as long as she does not have to clean the cage. Casie loves them!!!! Jessi not so much.

Cheer Banquet

Jessi and Casie had their cheer banquet. We had such a great time.

zoo

We have had a fun week Maddy had a field trip this week with her friends. We went to Lowery Park Zoo in Tampa http://www.lowryparkzoo.com/. It was a lot of fun, but a little warm. They have some new baby animals our favorite was the 6 week old white tigers. We were able to watch there first water play. Maddy rode the camel for the first time.
Michael had a field trip to Heritage House http://www.pinellascounty.org/heritage/exhibits_collections.htm. This was tons of fun everything they did was hands on. They are learning about past and present. But I forgot my camera can you believe it!

The girls are all doing well Football cheer leading is almost over we are in districts now. Jessi and Cole are working really hard on fundraising for the D.C trip.

This is our 2ND year working this event. Next year we want to do an 8 hour shift.

We were split up so some of us worked here some in bikes and some passed out water and food .
